Tabby Cat Homeschool
We had a great week! some struggles, but we endured and overcame! Praise God! We learned some fun words like take, chance and explain and talked a lot about feelings and how to express them. We had one day where our behavior kept us from "formal" instruction, but even though, we were able to learn about feelings. We learned how disruptive behavior can keep us from completing our school tasks. We love our school and our time at Tabby cat so we are going to try harder to curb our behavior. We had Valentines day this week which was so fun! We shared hearts, candy and cards, and Sarah even got a great big unicorn balloon. She sure does love unicorns! Oh, and we all LOVE candy! We had a trip to the YMCA for P.E. but it wasn't too fun since the pool was having a class with the old folks and we were forced to have only a small place to swim! We are planning to go after school so we can go as family and have a lot more room! We had some Garden time with Dad and that was fun! We got to ride in the cart behind the tractor(lawnmower) and plant grass seeds. Sarah got to rake and have fun with garden chores! Sarah and Mom went to the park in our subdivision and played on the swings and play structure, but we also practiced how to be safe when out of doors and in public places!
Boy, it was a really fun week and Mom joined us for Prayer and bible reading on Friday! Dad sang a wonderful song by a man who has two children with special needs (Brian Doerkson) and we learned about empathy and compassion. We're looking forward to the rain coming this weekend as it will help our newly sown grass to grow! Have a blessed weekend!
Dad and Sarah....oh and Coco and Brinley too!
